Pedalling fast to reach the unreached
STORIES FROM THE FIELD
“Through your support we were able to give 283 bicycles to our field workers. Thank You Partners, for your sacrificial giving and support.”
Lack of transportation is one of the major hurdles to reaching the unreached villages. Bicycles enable Empart workers to travel into remote villages which are otherwise not easily accessible due to lack of transportation and poor roads. On occasion, workers have borrowed bicycles, but owning their own gives them increased freedom to serve the remote villages.
Through your generous support these workers will be able to bring transformation to these individuals and villages.
Sunita* had to travel by bus or rickshaw which was not always easy. Sometimes she had to wait a long time for transportation or it just wasn’t available. Also, sometimes she didn’t have the money to pay the fare required.
“Now I can travel whenever and wherever I wish to reach the unreached villages to share the Truth. I am so glad. Thank you Empart,” says Sunita.
After completing his training Sham* wanted to work among his own people. God provdied a way to extend his work to other areas, however he had no transportation to those villages.
“The only way to get to there was by walking. Then I prayed for a bike and I thank God and Empart for providing me a bicycle. Now I can go to many villages and serve others and I am very blessed” says Sham.
After graduating from a transformation centre, Priyanka* wondered how she could reach far off villages where there was poor transportation. As a woman, she had to consider the safety aspects of travelling as well.
“I am extremely glad to have this bicycle; it was my prayer to God as I had to travel 6 kilometres by rickshaw to conduct an Empart gathering. Now I am free to reach any place without difficulty,” says Priyanka.
Empart worker Jarius* had an accident and had a surgery to his leg which made it difficult to walk long distances. He thanks God and Empart for answering his urgent need for transportation.
“Through this bicycle I can reach villages within a 10 km radius with the Good News. I would like to expand my work into villages where families have not yet heard the Truth”. says Jarius
It is exciting to be pedalling for the Kingdom. What a blessing!
