Trained to reach many
STORIES FROM THE FIELD
Neha* grew up in a home that practiced very strict rituals. Her father was an alcoholic and her mother financially supported the family of 8. Her home was not a peaceful one. Yet in the midst of the poverty and abuse, Neha became interested in other religions.
Then Neha’s mother met an Empart social worker who led them in the knowledge of living God. They started attending meetings and experiencing inner peace.
Neha decided to go to an Empart Training Centre for further studies. While she was there she learned how to live a life of prayer and devotion and that God loved her. She also developed her literacy skills and learned proper manners through the leaders at the centre.
After graduation, Neha returned to her home village, where she initially experienced opposition to her work. However, God strengthened her and she started to pray for her persecutors and to stand firm in the midst of her difficult circumstances. Miracles started to take place in people’s lives and now many people are coming to regular meetings despite the opposition.
Those who attend the meetings are strong in their faith and, with their help, Neha is now reaching into nearby villages and establishing home groups and meetings.
Please pray that Neha’s work continues to impact and grow in nearby villages.
